Abstract

In order to monitor and analyze the temporal and spatial variation of groundwater reserves in Liaoning Province, the authors use the de?correlation filtering, Gaussian filtering and scale factor method to invert the change of terrestrial water reserves in Liaoning Province based on the GRACE variable gravity field model data from April 2002 to June 2017, and subsequently obtain the change of groundwater reserves in Liaoning Province based on the sum of soil water and equivalent water of snow and ice simulated by the GLDAS hydrological model. The results show that under the comprehensive influence of rainfall and agricultural activities, the groundwater reserves in Liaoning Province show a continuous decrease. From 2002 to 2017, the long?term change rate of groundwater reserves is ( -0?? 42 ±0?? 07) cm/ a. After 2014, the groundwater reserves show an accelerated decline trend with a rate of ( -2?? 65 ±0?? 51) cm/ a, and the most severe decline occurs in Shenyang and Tieling in northern Liaoning Province.
