Abstract

In order to prove the genetic type of Erlihe Pb--Zn deposit in Fengxian County, the metal sulfide in

the deposit was analyzed by electron probe microanalysis. The results showed that there were two different types of pyrite, the Co /Ni value of one type of pyrite was 0. 04 ~ 1. 68,with an average value of 0. 57,indicating sedimentary origin ( Co /Ni < 1) ,the mineral was formed earlier and subsequently remolded by hydrothermal erosion. The other type of pyrite was with Co /Ni value of 0. 98 ~ 7. 67,and an average of 2. 46,indicating hydrothermal origin ( Co /Ni > 1) ,which occurred in the main ore body, and was closely related to Pb--Zn mineralization. There are obvious differences in Fe content in sphalerite, which can be divided into ferric sphalerite ( 4% ~ 8%) and sphalerite ( < 2%) . It is speculated that it may be caused by the superimposed transformation of the mineralization process. The Zn /Cd in the sphalerite is 346 ~ 698,which belongs to medium and high temperature. The study of mineral typomorphic characteristics indicates that the deposit is a stratabound-magmatic hydrothermal origin.
