Abstract

Ground total gamma radiation survey, ground gamma-ray spectrometric survey and soil radon concentration measurement were conducted in Zoige integrated exploration area, and the corresponding measurements were analyzed. The results show that radioactive anomalies concentrate in the carbonaceous quartzites and siliceous limestones of the upper Ta'er (S1t2), upper Yangchanggou (S1y2) and Taiyangding (∈t) formations occurred in the north and south wings of Baiyi anticline. Anomalies are always located near the interlayer fractures or lithologic interfaces of the metallogenic geological bodies, and obviously controlled by strata, lithologies and structures. After analyzing the distribution characteristics of all types of radioactive anomalies, four prospective areas are optimized and delineated, namely Xiangyanggou-Zhanwaluojungou level I prospective area, Wenquangou-Zelongnan level Ⅱ prospective area, Zelongbei level Ⅲ prospective area and Shangshixia-Baiyigou level Ⅲ prospective area.
