Abstract

Based on a large number of drilling cores, logging data, sample analysis data and previous survey data, it is suggested that the genesis of oil shale deposits in Jilin Province belongs to the inland lacustrine biodeposition type. According to the characteristics of the deposit and its tectonic location,it can be further divided into three different genetic types: large depression basin type, intermountain depression basin type and fault basin type. Through the study of different types of oil shale deposits, it shows that all types of deposits are strictly controlled by strata, and are distributed in grey, gray black and black shales. The ore-forming materials are mainly derived from lacustrine organisms and a small amount of terrestrial plants. The metallogenic age is Meso-Cenozoic, and they are mainly distributed in large depression basins and fault basins. It is inferred that the large-scale depression basin type deposits and intermountain depression basin type deposits are related to the Cretaceous deep and semi-deep lacustrine environment, and the fault basin type deposits are closely related to the Paleogene deep and semi-deep lacustrine environment.
