Application of“2W1H”seismic exploration technology in complex oil and gas exploration

Abstract

The technology of “2W1H”(wide-band,wide azimuth and high-density) seismic exploration is applied to Hei82 block of Changling depression in Songliao Basin. The data are acquired by widening the band, reducing bin, increasing coverage times and shot density, and then processed by OVT domain prestack time migration and prestack inversion. Compared with conventional 3D data, the frequency band of new “2W1H” data increased from 10~85 Hz to 4~100 Hz, the signal-to-noise ratio is increased from 1.2 to 2, which effectively improves the quality of seismic data. The prediction accuracy of channel sand body is more than 90% comparing with drilling data.
