Abstract

Suojiagou sliver-lead-zinc deposit is located in eastern Yinshan uplift of northern North China platform. The sliver-lead-zinc orebody mainly occurs in NW-trending fault zone under basalt-covered area and Late Yanshan tensional fissures formed by upward intruding of the acidic rocks. Preliminary estimation of reserves from existing drilling is 1 404 tons of silver metal(large-scale ore),280 000 tons of zinc and lead(medium-scale ore). Based on the analysis of metallogenic background, geological characteristics and geophysical prospecting anomalous characteristics of Suojiagou silver-lead-zine deposit, it is suggested that the deposit is related to the Yanshanian acid volcanic intrusion, which is a medium and low temperature hydrothermal vein filling type silver-lead-zinc ore. The mineral prospecting indicator is then pointed out.
