Abstract

Through field geological survey, detailed seismic interpretation and sample analysis, it shows that the early stage of Liuhe Basin is mainly controlled by the northwestern marginal fault, but by the southeastern marginal fault later. On the whole, it constitutes a semi-deep lake-fan delta or semi-deep lake-lake floor fan-fan delta sedimentary system, which was dominated by the northwestern provenance in the early stage, and the southeastern provenance was mainly in the later stage, with the sedimentary center gradually retreating to the northeast of the basin. There developed two kinds of source-reservoir-cap rock combinations with medium to good source rocks, which are self-sourcing and self-reservoiring combination, lower-sourcing and upper-reservoiring combination. The central-eastern zone of the fault depression is favorable for lithologic hydrocarbon accumulation, which has certain prospect for oil and gas exploration.
