Application of reservoir prediction under facies-constrained and multi-attributes techniquesin Bozhong 35 area, Huanghekou depression

Abstract��

Through researches on paleogeomorphology and paleo-valley, distribution of depositional systems of Dongying Formation could be determined in the Bozhong 35 area of Huanghekou depression of Bohai Sea; and the corresponding relationship between geology and geophysicals of delta front sandbodies could be identified by means of boreholes and seismic data. Combining with application of geophysical techniques including Multi-attributes analysis, horizon slice, seismic inversion and frequency-spectrum decomposition, etc, geometry, distribution and thickness of braided river delta front sandbodies could be predicted. In conclusion, consistency rate between the predictions and boreholes is more than 80%.
