Application of broad frequency seismic processing technique in one block of South China Sea

Abstract

In the process of marine seismic exploration,the ghost wave will depress low frequency part,lead to trap wave point in frequency domain,reduce the resolution of seismic record,and cause to overlap in which would event and even fake events existed. The seismic data FK transforming have been taken using FK domain ho- rizon cable depression ghost wave method. The method calculates deconvolution operator for Wiener filtering and projects in FK domain,then convolutes them,and the result finally transforms to time domain. The band of model data after deghosting is widened, and the low and high frequency data are enhanced. The frequency band of seismic data is widened from 12 ~60 Hz to 8 ~75 Hz by deghosting. The amplitude matching is better between seismic data and synthetic seismogram at Sanya Formation after deghosting.
