Abstract
By pure volume model and logging data regression methodsthe framework parameters of different rock types have been calculated in different methodsrespectively A method was given by using conventional log- ging data to determine the porosity and permeability of volcanic rock reservoirs of Huoshiling Formation in Lishu Fault Depression This paper presents the relationship among the physical property and lithologylithofaciespore- fracture and buried depthsuggesting that the favorable reservoirs are in the crater complex facies composed of vol- canic lavas and breccias The dominated reservoir spaces are dissolved pore- fractures and the buried depth has lim- ited influence on volcanic rocks The eservoir Quality Index (QI) have been applied to evaluate the comprehen- sive physical property of reservoir qualitatively In order to gain a deep insight into the volcanic reservoirswe use this method on 20 wells of Wangfu gas field The results of this evaluation are consistent with the potential of gas test |
