Abstract

Seismicdrilling and testing data analyses indicate that the gas reservoir types of Wangfu Fault Depression mainly include the volcanic dome- lithological typesandstone on the tip off type and lens type The volcanic dome inside which has reservoir section together with the source- rock of Huoshiling or Shahezi Formation constituted beneficial source- reservoir- seal assemblagewhich is the basis of volcanic dome structural- lithologic gas reservoir The finger- like interaction between fan delta updip pinchout lobate sand body of synsedimentary fault boundary and high- quality source rock is essential to the formation of updip pinchout lithologic gas reservoirs The source- rock of Shahezi Formation which enveloped the collapsed gravity flow of loose volcanic cone in Huoshiling Formation is the key factor of forming lens- shaped lithologic gas reservoirs Furthermorethis paper summarized the gas accumulation mode of Wangfu Fault Depressionand points out that the faulted slope area is the favorable accumulation region of updip pinchout lithologic reservoirsand the secondary uplift area is superimposed accumu- lation zones of volcanic dome structure- lithologic gas reservoirs of Huoshiling Formation and lens lithologic gas res- ervoirs of Shahezi Formation It is the adjacent raised edge zone of the secondary depression groove that tends to form volcanic dome gas reservoirs
