Abstract

In order to fine analyse the reservoir characteristics on complex salt- arch tectonic belt in io Muni Basin of west Africaand provide certain reference for other similar reservoir evaluationwe take the H reservoir as an example The structuresedimentreservoiroil distribution and main controlling factors of reservoir are ana- lyzed according to the seismic datawireline loggingmud loggingdrilling and MDT The conclusion is that the H reservoir is a litho- structural reservoirlithologic edge water oil pool with some oil- water contact in structural set- ting There is salt diapir in the crest The reservoir has both turbidite sandstone and gravitational decollement lime- stone in lower part of this trap Decollement fault and salt diapir are the main factors of oil accumulation
