Abstract

Daoga gold mining area is located in the east section of Beishan metallogenic beltEjina County Inner Mongolia The orebody of this area occurred in shallow metamorphic clastic rocks of Suishishan Formation and Hercynian dioriteand the distributions of the orebody are strictly controlled by NE and EW fault structures Gold- bearing quartz vein is the main mineralization type in this areaand the ore is mainly formed by brecciated sulfide- rich quartz veins and tourmaline- quartz veins in typeand the genesis of gold mineralization of this area is belong to mesothermal vein type Based on the analysis of IP anomaly of veinand vein apparent chargeability of anoma- ly range of is from 5% to 9% and apparent resistivity is from 50 ٷm to 300 ٷmwhich is considered the IP anomaly with low resistivity and high polarization in the surveyed area as the effective geophysical ore- hunting indication
