Pattern of LNAPL's migration and distribution in 2- D auriferous media

Abstract��

In order to study the pattern of Light Non- Aqueous Phase Liquid (LNAPL) contaminant's migration and diffusion in homogeneous aqueous media��an infinitesimal model was set to derive the dispersion equation for LNAPL contaminant in homogeneous aqueous media�� The authors built different media models��numerical simulate 2-D advection- dispersion equation with finite difference method to get numerical solution��and analyzed the features of LNAPL contaminant's migration to get the pattern of LNAPL contaminant's migration and diffusion in the homoge- neous media and homogeneous layered media�� The pattern of LNAPL's migration and distribution in auriferous fol- low the advection- dispersion equation��and the dispersion coefficient of media is the main factor that influences the migration of LNAPL's contaminant��
