Abstract

From the samples of soil in Anba ore block of Yangshan gold depositwe separated and extracted the eight forms (free statesulfide boundorganic matter boundcarbonate boundFe-Mn oxide boundwater- solubleexchangeable and residual form) of goldanalyzed the contents of the eight forms of gold by the GFAAS and found out their distributions The results show that gold mainly existed in free statesulfide bound and organic matter boundwhich are 3. 3% 75. 9%0 37%3. 3% 26%in percentage of the whole contentsrespec- tivelyand the average content of gold is 105. 5 ×10930. 5 ×10925. 3 ×109accordingly The peak of the relative content for free state and the minimum of the relative content for mobile forms both come above the ore-body indicating where the ore-body exists Thereforewe can use the gold in the free state or mobile forms as the key to search the carlin-like deposits
