Abstract

Tongmugou copper deposit is one of the important copper deposits in Zhongtiaoshan of Shanxiand the main ore bodies occurred in strata with straitiform or stratiform-like shape There were many molybdenite hydro- thermal quartz-sulfide veins distributed along the cross fracture and the interlayer fracture zone The e-Os isotopic ages of molybdenite indicated that the weighted average age of 1 901 ± 24 Maand the isochrone model age of (1 870 ±27) (1 916 ±29) Mawhich is closely agreed with the time of Zhongtiao movement The formation of molybdenite is closet connection with granite porphyryand the source of metallogenic material may come from the magma mixing of crust and mantle
