Research on OBC multiple wave attenuation method in Curvelet domain

Abstract��

The ocean bottom cable ( OBC) seismic acquisition technique by putting the receiver point at the ocean is facing the problem of interference by free surface multiple wave�� We use the improved SRME method to do the OBC data free surface multiple attenuation�� The SRME method is divided into forecast and subtraction processes�� and conventional minus��2D and 3D Curvelet threshold value subtractions are often used in subtraction process�� Through the comparisons of the three methods by modeling��it is found that the Curvelet threshold subtraction�� especially the 3D transform Curvelet threshold value subtraction has better result��
