Application of seismic reservoir prediction technology in Yakela area of Tarim Basin

Abstract��

Oil and gas resources are rich in Yakela area of Tarim Basin��but the accumulation rule was not recognized obviously�� The authors did the research on seismic comprehensive prediction for Jurassic sandstone reservoir in extension and its physical property�� The inversion of pseudo-acoustic curves and spectrum imaging technology were made by means of post-stack pure wave seismic data in order to depict vertical and horizontal distribution of sandstone�� On the basis of which��the impedance inversion of prestack elastic waves including the P-wave and Swave impedance��distribution characteristics of Lame coefficient and liquid detection technique of high frequency absorption attenuation for target reservoir were developed to analyze the seismic response characteristics for different lithological��physical and petroliferous properties�� The technology of seismic reservoir prediction depicted the distribution of effective reservoir of Lower Jurassic sandstone in the studied area��in order to search for petroleum exploration favorable target��
