Abstract

The slope rocks of delivery tunnel inlet side of a hydropower station are middle-thin layered limestone in which there are mainly three faultsone dyke and four groups of superior joints The characters seriously effect the stability of this mountain slope According to the distribution of structural surfacesthe authors use block body theory to search of the key block bodies in the slope The non-spatial fracture cones in the slope were find out by stereographic projection law Combined them with free surface to get the whole movable block bodiesthe authors calculated the JP number and the net sliding force under different movable forms to find out the key block bodies The result indicates that there are 4 key block bodies in the slope of delivery tunnel inlet side of this hydropower stationwith the JP numbers 000101110011011110110111 and 10111011which proves the base for further examination of the slope stability
