Abstract

Studying the microscopic and particle characteristics of Yingcheng Formation reservior in Shiwu oilfield the authors identify five microfacies in this area which contain submerged distributary channelbranching mouth bardistal bar of fan delta front subfacies and subaqueous fanturbidity current of shallow to semi-deep lake subfacies Combined with the reservior property datait is revealed that sand genetic types evidently controlled the reservoir physical property The branching mouth bar and submerged distributary channel of fan delta front are the best in sand reservoir qualitythe subaqueous fan is slightly inferiorwhile the distal bar and turbidity current are the worst The reservoir physical property in this area is also controlled by diagenesis
