Diagenesis and its influence to reservoir quality of Permain Wutonggou Formation in Jimusar sag of Junggar Basin

Abstract��

Through the data of cores��casting slides and scanning electron microscope��the authors study the diagenesis of Perman Wutonggou Formation in Jimusar sag of Junggar Basin��The results show that the reservoir diagenesis in Wutonggou Formation are compaction��cementation and denudation��in which the compaction and cementation are the main diagenesis to control reservoir quality��The compaction which make reservoir porosity decreasing is mechanical compaction��the main cementation is calcite or ferrocalcite cementation��secondly is secondary clay minerals cementation��which is the key factor of permeability reduce��the denudation is mainly the feldspar particles denudation with limited improvement to reservoir physical property��which is not leads to secondary porosity devel— opment zone��
