Abstract��

On the basis of the core data of gravity current characteristics and the grain-sizes distribution of change suspension in northern Gaosheng oil field of western Liaohe depression��the authors considered that the studied area mainly developed in gravity flow deposit combined with the gravity current characteristics reflected by well logging and seismic data��According to the distribution of sand body of the 4th Member of Shahejie Formation and its contemporaneous faults showed by seismic attribute��the authors revealed the dispersion system��which indicated that the sediment sources maily came from northwest combined with the east-leaned slope paleotopography eastward tilted in the studied area��The new determined sediment face types and dispersion system will promote the explora- tion of lithological reservoir in the studied area��
