Abstract

The characteristics of location rule and deep pfima~halo of Tongmugou copper deposit 3# ore body in Hujiayu of Shanxi Province have been studiedThe results show that the ore body 3# occurs in the contact zone of silicified marble and carbonaceous slate of Bizigou Formation with southeastern inclining and northeastern lateral trendingThe detachment faults within Bizigou Formation provide interspace for the movement of metallogeneic fluid and the unloading of mineralsThe area from gentle to steep slope along the inclination is more favorable for mineralizationand the 525445 m level is just located at the gentle area of fracture surfaceand change to steep in deepthe axial zonality sequence of primary halo in 525-445 m can be concluded as(Sn-W-Sb)(Mn-V-B-As-Ni)(Pb-Ti-Ag-Co-Mo-Bi-Zn-Hg-Cu-Au)The geochemical parameter “a”performs increasing trendthe distribution of front halo element enriches in lower partwhich reflects that the ore body 3# may prolong downwards to a greater extentand delineates the forecasting target area of deep ore body based on above analysis There exists the mineralization superposition of Cu and Mo in 445 m with seficite-quartz alteration prophyritic granodioritewhich is the sign of prophyritic Cu and Mo mineralization in deepand the deep front halo element enrichment is also a representation of Mo hydrothermal superposition. Thus, the authors propose that the deep part of 445 m level is a prospective area to find Mo mineralization.
