Abstract

The research and calculation of the key block of 1K0 + 125 145 section in water curtain gallery at Qingdao LPG underground storage have been done using UNWEDGE softwareand obtained four removable blocks Block 1 was a self-stable block and located at the bottom of the gallery Block 4 and block 5 located at the left and right walls separatelywith the security factors of 1. 945 and 3. 385can meet the basic requirements of self-stable Block 8 located on the top of the gallery with large sizeheavy weight and a safety factor of 0required special supporting Supporting program was put forward on the analysis of the results By comparison of the results before and after supportingit can be seen that the security factor increased significantly The security factors of block 8 under bolting support and anchor support were 1. 278 and 6. 406respectively It is clear that the shotcrete was more effective in improving the security factor of blocksand the supporting program can meet the safety requirements of the project
