Abstract

Elaborate interp retion results of 3D seismic data show the main structural slope-break zone in the 3th submember of Shahejie Formation in Huanxiling area in the depression of western Liaohe is fault slope-break zone, and the main plane combination styles are “dendritic” and “reticular”. The formation is controlled by tectonic activity, morphological variation of basement, disproportion of deposition and differential compaction, and tectonic activity is the main controlling factor. According to the controlled action of structural slope-break zone to subtle reservoirs, it has been divided into five zone ( -). The reservoir type in the studied area ismainly compound lithologic-structural reservoir which next to structural slope-break zone, and spread in the north-east trending with moniliform shape.
