Abstract

To study the detection response of mines and unexploded bombs in certain medium environment, the authors use a vector finite element method based on a nonstructural grid, conduct a full?space electromagnetic induction simulation, design two complex mine and unexploded bomb models, respectively, use a magnetic dipole antenna transceiver method, and calculate the target body secondary field data and performs fast imaging. The re? sults show that the method achieves the effect of detecting the anomalous signal of the underground complex form UXO, and the imaginary part value of the electromagnetic response of the unexploded bomb is about 10 times of the real part value at the burial depth of 0?? 5 m and the sampling frequency of 20 kHz, and the imaginary part can be selected as the main reference basis for horizontal positioning, and the positioning error is kept within 10% , and its response characteristics can be helpful for the inversion simulation.
