Abstract

Inordertounderstandmoresystematicallythegeologicalbackground,deposittypes,metallogenic lawsandgenesisofthegolddepositsintheArcheangreenstonebeltofTanzaniaCraton,theauthorusesasystematicsummaryoftypicalgolddepositsinthegreenstonebelt.Itisbelievedthatgolddepositscanoccurinvarious typesofrocksinthegreenstonebelt.Thegreenstonerockandthesurroundinggranitecontactzonearethekeyprospectingdirections.Golddepositsaremainlycontrolledbystructuralshearzones,andthestrongstructuraldeformationisoftenthemostfavorablemetallogenicpositions,ie.thenorthwestsoutheastandnortheastsouthwestdirectionsasthemainmetallogenicstructuredirections.Thegolddepositsintheareaareorogenicgolddeposits,and thegeneticmodelofthegolddepositsisthecontinentalcrustalmetamorphicfluidgeneticmodel
