Discussion on genesis of Delite fluorite deposit in eastern Kunlun, Qinghai Province:evidence from fluidinclusions and stable isotopes

Abstract

DelitefluoritedepositislocatedintheKunnancompositecollagebeltineasternKunlunorogenic belt.Thegeologicalcharacteristicsofthedeposit,fluidinclusions,HOandSstableisotopesstudieshavebeen carriedouttodiscussthesource,propertiesandphysicochemicalconditionsoforeformingmaterialsandfluids,and toexplorethegenesisofthedeposit.TheresultsshowthattheorebodymainlyoccursinDevonianmonzoniticgranitesandiscontrolledbyNWW andNW faults.Themineralizationisdividedintotwostages,quartzsulfidestage andquartzfluoritestage.Thetemperatureoffluidinclusionsinthemetallogenicstageismeasured.Andtheoreformingfluidhasthecharacteristicsoflowtemperature(107~180℃),lowsalinity(w (NaCleqv) =018% ~907%)andmediumdensity((0930~0991)g/cm3 ),belongingtohydrothermalsolutionofNaClH2Osystem.ThroughtheanalysisofNaClH2OsystemTWρphasediagram,themetallogenicpressureis1~5barand theminimummetallogenicdepthis10~50m.Sisotopeshowsthatcrustderivedcomponentsmayhavebeenadded duringtheemplacementofmantlederivedmagma.HOisotoperesultshowsthattheoreformingfluidismainlyatmosphericprecipitationwithasmallamountofmagmaticfluids.Inconclusion,Delitefluoritedepositisanepithermalveintypedeposit,andthedecreaseoforeformingfluidtemperatureandpressureisthemainmechanismoffluoriteprecipitation.
