Abstract:

Occam method is applied in the one dimensional inversion of marine controlled- source electromag- netic method (mCSEM) based on attitude parameters The inversion data are the electric response amplitude meas- ured at different distance (MVO) Attitude parameters of transmitters and receivers are considered simultaneously in the inversion According to the vector decompositionthe source is decomposed into three coordinate direction sources in the forward process Meanwhilethe electromagnetic responses are calculated respectively in the same coordinate systemthen the total response is got by superposition The responses at any attitude are calculated by using Euler rotation with receiver’s attitude parameters The inversion results of theoretical and measured data in- version results indicate that the inversion of mCSEM based on the attitude parameters is available
