Abstract:

The acoustic and density logging curves of whole well can be used in seismic inversion to build the velocity model Due to the geological conditionsobservationsinstrumentstatusand many other factors limitit is generally hard to obtain the whole logging data from one well To preserve the integrity of logging datawe derive the relationship between the rock matrix densityresistivityP-wave velocityand porosity with the Archie's law and Gardner's equation in petrophysics Andwe can predict other logging curves with the derived relation It shows the feasibility in the numerical analysis from a field test
