Abstract:

Confined brine aquifer was the main ore-bearing bed in the large arid basins salt lake of western China because of its large amount of solid-liquid phase potassum mineral deposition�� The combined technology of surface nuclear magnetic resonance and hydrogeology drilling verification was first used in the confined brine work- ability test of a salt lake of Qaidam Basin in China�� The related physical parameters of aquifer were obtained and then interpreted as hydrogeological parameters�� The water abundant areas of moisture content 5. 4% were deter- mined by the hydrogeological comprehensive judgment��and the stable rich water yield was obtained by hydrogeolog- ical drillings�� And make it into the industrial mining water area of 1. 5 ×104m3/d in brine quantity and 1. 67% in KCl content�� This technology tested by practice was an reliable and effective method in detecting the water abun- dance of salt lake intercrystalline brine aquifer and exploiting of brine resources��
