The metallogenic geological condition and geotectonic background of Erdaohe lead-zinc-silver deposit in Chaihe area are predominant��with tremendous potential for the existence of new concealed ore bodies in mining area and its periphery�� In order to study the prospecting potential in the periphery of the Erdaohe mining area�� combined with the regional metallogenic background��we investigated the geological��geophysical and geochemical characteristics of Erdaohe deposit�� We used the comprehensive information propecting methods of geological preliminary investigation��detailed soil geochemical survey and induced polarization intermediate gradient to predict ore bodies in Hekoulinchang distict of diggings peripheral area�� The results showed that the Hekoulinchang forcasting area had the analogous metallogenic geological condition with Erdaohe deposit��and geochemical and geophysical anomalies fited very well�� Through the target optimization analysis��three key prospecting targets and a secondary focus prospecting target were totally delineated��which was estimated to be the best positon for the ocurrence of lead-zinc-silver ore bodies�� This research is beneficial to the prospecting in mining area and its periphery��
