Abstract:

In marine seismic data processingboth reflective and diffractive multiple waves exsist in seismic data Because the energy of diffractive multiple wave is weaker than reflective multiple wave and shows nonstationary characteristicsit is difficult to remove in conventional SRME methodwhich affects the following data analysis The authors separate the seismic data with the two kinds of multiple wavespredict multiple waves using SRME and finally match different multiple wavesespecially nonstationary diffractive multiple waves through adaptive subtraction method Testing of Sigsbee 2B model shows that reflective and different diffractive multiple waves can be eliminated effectively at the same time compared with the ideal infinite-model data without multiple waves
