Applying comprehensive geophysical prospecting method in geothermal exploration in Tianjin area

Abstract:

On the basis of analyzing geophysical prospectingmethod to geothermal exploration in Tianjin, geophysical prospecting method combination suitable to geothermal exploration of Tianjin area, has been established. The gravity prospecting, artificial seismic prospecting and magnetotelluric sounding are suitable to sandstone porosity geothermal reserior; and gravity prospecting, magnetic prospecting, artificial seismic prospecting and magnetotelluric sounding are suitable to bedrock karst fissure geothermal reserior. The practical application of geophysical prospecting methods combination in Zhouliangzhuang area of Tianjin is obtained in good result. The authors discuss also on the effective geophysical prospecting methods for deep geothermal exploration, and the plane surface wave (micromotion) appears to be good in effect in deep bedrock strata exp loration.
