Abstract:

Nonsulfide zinc depositswere usually mistaken as oxidation ores of zinc. Because of the development of hydrometallurgy, these ores have been paid attentions as significance exploration targets now. The nonsulfide zinc deposits are divided into two types of supergene and hypogene nonsulfide zinc deposits. The former is the most common, and the latter mainly includes structural controlled metasomatic deposit and manganese-enriched jet-type layered deposit. The Daijiazhuang zinc deposit of Gansu Province is a newly discovered large deposit in the Mid Devonian of Xichen. This deposit is different from normal supergene nonsulfide zinc deposit, and may be a new type of nonsulfide zinc deposit in China.
