Experiment on treatment of emulsified oil wastewater by membrane distillation

Abstract:

Hollow fibermembrane is used to treat the simulant emulsified oilwastewater by membrane distillation. The influences of concentration, flow velocity, temperature and time of feed solution to the membrane flux and removal rate have been analyzed. The results show the membrane flux as 21.20 g/m2 ·h after 1 h operation, and the removal rate of oil > 70%; the membrane flux as 5.141 g/m2 ·h after 5 h operation, and the removal rate of oil > 90% under the condition of feed solution temprature as 50 ��, flow velocity as 14 mL /min and emulsified oil concentration as 500 mg/L.
