Abstract:

Exploration conditions are the basement in search for buried iron deposit. The exploration conditions of buried magnetite-quartzite type iron deposit were concluded through the prospecting of Zhangbaiwan buried iron deposit in Hebei. Original ore-bearing formations are the foundational conditions for prospecting buried iron deposits, thickness and occurrence aswell as lithology of the cover rocks restrict the exploration of buried lron deposits. Faults destroy the buried iron deposits, but the influences of simple otherness movements in faults are limited to affect the exploration. Aeromagnetic anomalies are important conditions, ground super precision magnetic anomalies are sufficient conditions to find buried iron deposits and the rational treatment of magnetic data are necessary conditions to understand the occurrence and buried depth of the magnetic body.
